Day 116: 7/25/2018

It has been a long day packed with so many things.

I have been up since 7.45 this morning and it is now 12.32 am the next day. Still, I am half awake trying to generate thoughts for this daily entry.

There were so many things happening today.

  • P’ Gluay and I went to the doctor’s office for the first time in the UK.
  • P’Gluay and I picked up some blackberries from the sidewalk. Fun!
  • With a prescription in hand, he went to the pharmacy, which Dr. Murray called “the chemist” by himself for the first time.
  • Once we arrived home, I tried to concentrate on work. Despite some interruptions from my very own thoughts and urge to pick up my phone, I was able to write down some ideas in the proposal draft.
  • I went to the library for a quick book pick-up trip as I just found out that today was the last day the book would be available for pick-up (what is called “collection” here).
  • It turned out that I spent a much longer time at the library to find a pile of books and eventually came home with quite a number of books. Luckily, I had my bicycle with me. It can carry a lot more since P’ Gluay had installed the panniers for me.
  • In the evening, I went to work at the restaurant. It was a busy day at work as it was the University of York graduation day as well.

At present, I am completely exhausted and I can her my pillow is calling my name.
