Day 161: 9/8/2018

I decided not to attend the BAAL 2018’s last day because all I can think about is my work.

Having decided not to go and to work instead, I let myself indulge in bed a bit longer to get the much needed sleep. Then it was time to get up and get on with life.

While P’Gluay decided to only have a latte this morning, my first breakfast in our new place was the food I brought back from Khaosan Road following a simple side salad.

Then off I went to school hoping to finish everything and print out a copy for proofread tomorrow. It rained cats and dogs and suddenly it felt cold as the temperature has almost immediately drop for more 10–15 degrees in the past week. That did not stop me from going to school but it still made me sleepy in the afternoon.

Throughout the day, I had a constant persistent battle with own thought and urge to check my phone and email inboxes. Given all thought self-created distractions, I managed to finish the draft and printed out the hard copy around 6.30 ish and decided to come back home right away.

It felt so good to have been able to come home earlier tonight. Then I went out to Khaosan to order some Pad Thai as I did not fast for the day.

Let us hope that tomorrow will be another great productive day!
