Day 148: 8/26/2018

I am in the process of reestablishing my usual routine and becoming my own self again.

I got up and went for a run this morning. Though it was not as long as I had wished, it was a good start after a week-long break. I finished the mix of running and fast walking at 7K. During the morning run, I felt starving the entire time and yet kept going until the end. It felt great to be able to go out and run again!

After that, P’Gluay and I had a pretty relaxing Sunday. We started off by drinking some homemade lattes, having breakfast, and then going out in the city center. We did not have much in terms of planning. But we had a great relaxing time today.

Having finished roaming in the city center and buying some essentials, we headed to try a local Italian restaurant called Il Paradiso, located close to Khaosan Rd., as I longed for some spaghetti. It was another successful attempt of selecting and tasting new restaurant in the city of York. The meal was served quickly and staff friendly and attentive. The ingredients were fresh and simply cooked to their perfection.

Well, I should add that we made a quick stop for grocery shopping at Waitrose before heading home, too. It simply means that we are all set for the next week. :)

The rest of the afternoon and evening was time for us to chillax. Of course, I had to work albeit it is Sunday today. No complains though.

Things are now getting better and back into their place as they should be. I am much more motivated to work and committed to work my best to regain my best self again. I am excitedly happy. :)
