Day 198: 10/15/2018
It was a good relaxing day with us two, me and you.
I let myself get up an hour late intentionally. That said, I got up at 8 on my day off and it was still dark then. My day started easy. I got up, did some stretching while waiting for my coffee machine to become ready. Then the coffee was made, I went on the internet (a bad start, but it was my day off).
The plan for the day was made and I tried my best to concentrate on this week reading assignment for Research Methods. I did not read much until the breakfast time came. I went out to the kitchen and had breakfast made by P’Gluay.

Again, I tried to read a book chapter on interview. It was more successful this time but still I could have concentrated a bit better, I believe.
Right at noon, I went to the bathroom, took a shower, and got ready for our lunch reservation at Ask Italian at 1.15 pm.
We arrived there 4 minutes late. The waiter did not bother to check our name for the reservation since it was not busy when we arrived. It was elegantly grand and well decorated with rows of tables. Luckily, we were able to place the order before more people hit the restaurant.

It was a wonderful first impression with the restaurant. We chose to come here based upon one sole reason, 40% student discount on Mondays and Tuesdays, and we were pleased with the food, service, and ambience. Overall, it was another good meal and we thought about going back again some time.
After lunch, we walked into the city center headed to Cafe Nero. We ordered some drinks and stayed there for a few hours as planned. I read a reading assignment in preparation for the upcoming workshop this Thursday and Friday with way too many self-initiated distractions with my phone. It was a bad day in terms of my phone usage instead. I noticed it but still allowed myself to pick it up too often with an accuse for the sake of my day off.
Though I did not finish the chapter I started, we took off and stopped by Marks and Spencer to get some essentials. It was a quick stop before heading home.
At home, of course I had to read more to compensate and to accomplish my plan. Finally, I finished a segment of the reading assignments and found it interesting story for discussion.
I let myself take a long nap before I got up and did some more work on my to-do list including booking our train tickets to Manchester and booking a hotel room in Chiang Mai for the conference I will attend in December.
It is now much later than my bedtime. I should really hit the sack again.
