Day 303: 1/28/2019
I really do not know if I could call it the first draft but I did!
I have been working days and nights on my Progression Meeting report and that includes two pieces of writing — a report of 2,000 words and the literature review of 5,000 words. Although I have my proposal that I have been working on (on and off) for months along with constant constructive feedback from Jan and Louise, I have yet a lot to finish.
The past few weeks have been tremendously stressful for me both at conscious and subconscious levels. I have worked hard to try to easy my inner thinking and to make sure that my life balance maintains somewhat well. Admittedly, I am still stressed out because first of all, my works are not completely finished. I keep telling myself ‘this is still a work in progress’ but at the same time I want them to be good enough pieces of writing to pass the progression meeting. Moreover, the clock is ticking and the submission deadline is just around the corner. With high tension, I tried and managed to finish the first draft of both today. Now, both first drafts have around 1,000 words exceeding the word limit which I will need to work on and submit by tomorrow.

Given the situation, I decided to take a 3/4 day off from work today. (I worked in the morning until noon). Since today is P’Glauy’s day off, we had planned to go the York Outlet beforehand. I thus tried my very best to finish the first drafts this morning. It was a good relaxing day where I could spend screen-free time with him shopping and dining out. We bought some souvenirs for our families as I will be going home soon. More significantly, we both got each other a valentine’s gift because we found something we liked at reasonable sale prices . :)
