Teaching three different people for three drastically varied purposes today was so meaningful. To be honest, at the end of the day, I was physically exhausted because, as always, teaching takes up my energy. But one big lesson I was reminded of is that giving is actually receiving.
Though physically tired, I felt elated, satisfied, flattered, energized, and best of all, fulfilled. This is what drives me to give more and to be more to my students.
I will not go in further detail of what happened today. Rather, I would like to end my entry with three very basic simple sentences:
Giving is powerful.
Giving is happiness.
Giving is contagious.
Last but not least, I am thankful for all three students who made me feel so lucky to be a teacher today. Thank you for reminding me that for me, to give is to receive as well.
