Boston Trip: Day 1
After several stressful weeks, it is now our time to sit back, relax and enjoy the ride. Literally. We both are now on a summer getaway trip in Boston and here is the recap of day 1.
Going to bed late last night, we yet managed to get up early in this morning to catch the train and then the bus to Boston. It was a fairly long ride-4.5 hours-but we didn’t mind. We could spend that time to read, play, chat and of course take a nap.

We arrived safe and sound, then checked in with our airbnb hosts-Andrew and Claire-at their super cool apartment in Cambridge. Both Andrew and Claire are PhD students in history at Harvard and they both are the best airbnb hosts by far. The room is great and plus, we even have our private bathroom.
After that, we went out for late lunch and continued on with a must here, Harvard University tour. Within a walking distance, we reached the first and the best American university. Typically, Harvard welcomes visitors from every corner of the world every day and today was not an exception. We saw people and little kids speaking Chinese, Korean, African, English and many other languages we didn’t recognize during an hour-long visit. And one of the best spot for people watching in Harvard is John Harvard statue.

We then moved on to the next spot in our unplanned plan, Trinity Church taking subway which it is called T here in Boston. Soon enough in this walking friendly city, we reached our destination.

More photos were taken and more people watching was done there for a while. And around an hour before the sunset, we decided on a whim to walk to Charles River Esplanade and witnessed the gorgeous dusk. There were plenty people from all ages doing their own things, enjoying themselves from walking, biking, picnicking to dating and swimming in the river.

So far, we both have absolutely enjoyed a much lower pace of life city like Boston. We are very much looking forward to tomorrow, day 2.
